Anuttama Dasa joined the ISKCON Governing Body Commission (GBC) in 2000 and served as its Chairman in 2014-2015. Today his zonal assignments include Delaware, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Illinois, Missouri, and co-GBC in West Virginia and eastern Pennsylvania. He enacts his leadership goals globally by teaching seminars including: “ISKCON’s Leadership and Management,” “ISKCON Communications Course,” “The Guru Seminar,” and the “ISKCON Disciples Course,” all of which he helped co-author with teams of other senior Vaishnavas.

Besides his GBC duties, Anuttama has served as ISKCON’s International Director of Communications for twenty years. He is a regular contributor and senior editor for ISKCON News and has authored articles for the ISKCON Communications Journal and several interfaith publications outside of ISKCON. Anuttama has been interviewed by multiple media outlets including BBC, Fox News, ABC, Larry King Live, and the Washington Post.

His Holiness Bhakti Rasamrita Swami completed his B.E. from M.S University Baroda, MBA from Bombay University & worked for some time in a multinational Bank. Inspired by the teachings of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the founder acharya of The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), he decided to dedicate his life for propagating the message of Bhagavad Gita and joined International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). He was initiated by the spiritual name His Grace Devamrita Dasa. Since then he has served in many important projects and has preached the message of Bhagavad gita very widely, especially to the student community. He served as temple president in Mumbai, Belgaum and Vrindavan- which is the spiritual hub of world wide ISKCON temples. He has been preaching in many prestigious educational institutions all over India. Commemorating the hundredth birth anniversary of Srila Prabhupada in the year 1996, he travelled widely and conducted National level theistic debate competitions in various colleges and Universities across India and Nepal, covering 250 cities and over 5000 colleges. During this period, He inspired many people in different parts of India, to practice and preach the message of Bhagavad gita. In the month of March, 2010, honoring his dedication and devotion, He was awarded the order of Sannyasa (Renunciation) in ISKCON, with the title His Holiness Bhakti Rasamrita Swami. In his more than 30 years of dedicated devotional life in ISKCON, he has rendered several important services, preached in many countries of America, Europe and USSR, and continues to do so. Presently he is temple president of ISKCON Belgaum centre, where He is inspiring thousands of people to seriously practice the sublime teachings of the Bhagavad-gita, and is overseeing the development of a self- sufficient vedic eco village (Gokul Dham) in 450 acres of land near Belgaum.

BHAKTIMARGA SWAMI, popularly known as THE WALKING MONK, took to a monk’s life in 1973 as a youthful 20 year old. Prior to becoming a monk, he did chores on the family farm in Chatham, Ontario, Canada, and was a college student of Fine Arts. His walks are extensively and internationally featured on radio, television, in newspaper, and film. THE WALKING MONK first took to the road as a marathon walker in 1996 to honour the centennial year of his guru, SRILA PRABHUPADA, the Founder Acharya of ISKCON – the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. At that time, BHAKTIMARGA SWAMI walked across Canada (Earth’s 2nd largest country) from coast to coast for the spiritual healing of the nation. From there on in he was hooked and later repeated the journey 3 more times! His walking fever quickly spread beyond Canada across international borders.
